SLOW MAIL CLUB
A club for artists and creatives who like to take it slow
Hello Good People!
I hope you are having the most wonderful holidays. Before we close 2025, I want to finally reveal something I’ve been dreaming about and quietly working on for a while, something that will come to life next year!
If you know a little bit about me, you probably already know that I enjoy living slowly - not only because my health issues require it, but because a slower life allows me to be more present and to notice the little details around me.
That’s why I imagined a community of people who want to embrace a slower pace, the little things. From there to the idea of the Slow Mail Club was just a speedy snail! 🐌
Slow Mail Club is for people who love snail mail - who feel nostalgic about pen pals and Postcrossing (I know these are still very much alive!) - but also for creatives and artists who want to be part of a community where your own pace truly matters. A place where making art slowly and sharing experiences with each other can help us all live better.
The modern world is constantly telling us to rush: to do more in less time, to multitask, to grow in numbers (which doesn’t always mean growing as an individual), to always be online, to reply by the minute. And I think it’s up to us to say no. Personally, that’s not how I want to live. I want to live slowly.
I don’t think living slowly necessarily means abandoning all social media (if we use it), cutting ties with the modern world or living like a monk — although you can do that if it feels right to you!
Enough talking, here’s how it’s going to work:
Slow Mail Club - A club for artists and creatives who like to take it slow
There will be two ways to join the Slow Mail Club: Digital Friends (free) and Snail Mail Friends (paid membership).
DIGITAL FRIENDS - Free
• A monthly art idea we can explore “together” (no rules, always at your own pace)
• A Discord community1
• Occasional digital freebies (wallpapers, bookmarks, etc.)
SNAIL MAIL FRIENDS
6€ / Europe | 8€ / Rest of the world
Each month you’ll receive:
• A letter
• 1 postcard
• 1 sticker
• A little thing made with extra love (zine, game, bookmark, recipe, etc.)
• 10% discount in my shop
• Plus everything included in Digial Friends option
To receive the monthly letter join within the month, p.e. join during the month of March to receive March’s letter with all the goodies.
By joining the Snail Mail Friends membership, you’ll be supporting my art and I’ll be incredibly happy to send you a letter every month. There are no obligations, you can join for just one month or stay for as long as you like. Either way, the free option - Digital Friends - will always be there for you!
You might wonder why there’s a free option and a Discord channel in a Slow Mail Club.
I know snail mail is about slowing down and the joy of something arriving in your mailbox. Discord might sound like the opposite of that, but my intention is to create a cozy little corner online where we can connect, share our art & ideas and celebrate the joys of creating slowly.
Being online to meet like-minded people is still very important - especially for disabled people, introverts, caregivers and many others. I also don’t want financial difficulties to be a barrier to joining this community. That’s why this part of the club will always be accessible to everyone.
How art and slow life connect
It’s funny how drawing and living slowly have so much in common. Both are built through small steps, until they become part of who we are - our essence, our routine. Both are things we’re constantly learning from and adjusting to our life, experiences, and memories.
If you’re a creative person, you probably know this feeling: when you draw (or make any kind of art), your heart slows down and for a few moments you forget everything that’s happening out there, along with your worries. Living slowly helps us find more of those moments: noticing more, feeling more, being more intentional — just like art does. And once we find them, we want to repeat them as much as we can!
It’s not easy (is anything in life?). A slow life is something you need to practice every day. Just like drawing. And that’s something I want to keep pursuing in 2026.
If Slow Mail Club sounds like something you’d enjoy, I’d love for you to join me. I’ll see you on the slow side of things! 💛
I wish you the very best for 2026, a year full of joy and creativity.
Till next time,
Teresa
If joining Discord is something you don’t want to, but you still want to receive the monthly art idea and occasional digital freebies please send me your email by DM and that’s done!

Such a lovely idea, Teresa! I wish you a lot of success with your Slow Mail Club.
